Getting Moonshine up to scratch

Since purchasing Moonshine in December 2013 we have done many jobs to get her to the condition we are accustomed to. The very first job was to wash, repair and waterproof the canopy. Unfortunately we are still having leaky sunroof problems so we envisage a new canopy sooner rather than later.
New Iroko steps, new heater, portlight window installed, larger gas locker, replaced sanitation hose, x2 vhf radios, shelving in cupboards, new throttle cable, refurbished anchor winch and many more small jobs.
At the moment we are in the process of installing a extra domestic battery.  Two commercial 655 type batteries were delivered the other day, and these are being fitted as we speak.
Jobs still to do are ongoing striping and re varnishing of all woodwork, leather saloon seating to refurbish by leather specialist, led lighting throughout, blue led mood lighting for wheelhouse and to light up buttresses, replace crazed Perspex portlights and further down the line new cockpit upholstery and teak and holly saloon flooring.
As previously mentioned a new canopy is needed very soon. At the moment we have decided a sandy coloured fabric will be best possibly made using Weathermax 80...we will see how this idea pans out.
Having just returned from Moonshine's summer travels, visiting Grimsby, Wells, Lowestoft, Harwich, Ipswich, Mistley, Titchmarsh Marina and Woodbridge it is once again time to catch up on jobs to get her into peak condition.
Next weekend we intend to visit South Yorkshire Boat Club for their annual open weekend event. We have enquired about a visitors mooring but have been told to turn up and see what happens...
